2024 KCBADD Master of Ceremonies
Jeff first became a member of IIBA in 2013, during a career transition out of forklift sales. The opportunities and resources provided by IIBA, both at the Local and International levels, helped him land his first BA role with the NAIC in 2014. Later that year, Jeff took his first active position with IIBA Kansas City Chapter leadership as Treasurer, later serving as Chapter President from 2017-2019.
At the beginning of 2020, Jeff joined H&R Block world HQ to work on the team responsible for facilitating online tax prep. Little did he know, just a few short months later, the onset of COVID would make this virtual tax prep team the driver of the company’s business. Jeff ultimately spent two exciting years at Block before finding an opportunity to join the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City as a Senior Product Owner. He has been in that role for almost 3 years now and can honestly attest that the time spent in IIBA Chapter leadership was a critical formative experience to prepare for this role of accountability and leadership at the product level.
For recreation, Jeff likes to take any opportunity to travel and see the world with his wife, Sofia, as well as collecting and reading a variety of books and biographies, primarily related to 18th and early 19th economic and technological history.
