CANCELLED - Chapter Meeting - What does “Business Analyst” mean where you work?

Wednesday, January 23, 2019 -
5:00pm to 7:00pm

Note new meeting location: 1740 W. 92nd St., Kansas City, MO  64114

The BABOK defines business analysis as "The practice of enabling change in an enterprise (context) by defining needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to stakeholders." *** Due to hazardous road conditions, ice and extreme cold, this month's meeting has been cancelled. Be safe! ***** Our Chapter’s first meeting of 2019 will feature a facilitated discussion to gain a greater understanding of how business analysis work is done around the Kansas City area.   Attendees will be able to pick up a free hardcopy of “Business Analysis - Positioning for Success,” a whitepaper (published by IIBA & KPMG) on the skillsets that BA’s will need to develop, and the challenge for the business analysis community to ensure that business leaders understand and leverage their capabilities.   Attendance is free for members (contact our Membership Director, Amy Cashion at membership@kansascity.iiba.org to pay 2019 membership dues).
