KC IIBA Meeting - June 2017

Tuesday, June 20, 2017 -
5:30pm to 7:00pm

The Backlog is in the Eye of the Beholder

(Developed at DeepAgile Boston 2010)

Description:  Organization and prioritization are two distinct activities that can be used to improve the quality of a product backlog.  A simple linear list is difficult to prioritize.  Likewise, many stakeholders are often forgotten in the rush to deliver a product.  The purpose of this game is to focus on the vested interest of implicated stakeholders, and illuminate the value of organizing the work before prioritizing.

Come out this month for a fun exercise of Backlog Management and great discussion!

Facilitators will be Cecelia Walsh and Jeff Gates.
Cecelia is a Senior Business Analyst at the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank, and the new Director of Programs for our IIBA Kansas City Chapter.
Jeff is a CCBA certified Business Analyst at the NAIC, and the President of the IIBA Kansas City Chapter.

Participation will earn attendees 1 Professional Development Hour towards IIBA certification (CBAP/CCBA).

IIBA Kansas City would like to thank Adaptive Solutions for sponsoring this event!
