Skills Workshop: Building Organized Backlogs with User Story Mapping
User story mapping is a technique popularized by Jeff Patton in 2005 for visualizing product backlogs according to the relative value of features. In this hands-on session we will start with a disorganized backlog and a product roadmap, and work our way up to an organized backlog that the entire team can understand. We will include techniques for how to fold in changes to the roadmap, like new discoveries, changing market conditions and other pressures that influence the development team.

She is a past president of the IIBA Kansas City Chapter, and is a past leader and current ambassador for Kansas City Women in Technology, where she helped to build the Coding & Cocktails program for aspiring local women developers.
